Logic Pro X Tutorial – ZOOM CONTROLS

In this quick minute logic tutorial we are going to talk about zoom controls. Let’s do this Ok, I have one minute to show you how to use zoom controls There are many different kind of zoom controls believe it or not for logic. I’m going to put a clock right there I’m not gonna start it yet cuz I haven’t started explaining zoom controls, but I’m about to right now the first Zoom control that is right from the beginning. Let’s say you have these two audio files here If you go like this, you just go into the bottom of the header You can drag up and down so you can see how it zooms in and out. You see how the tracks getting larger right there That’s one way to do it Let’s say you want to see this one too. Just as big You know like that now if you want to snap it back to smaller Where it was originally you would just hold down the shift button and you’re going to left-click You see how it goes back to normal. So again drag them out of place Let’s say we’re just you know looking at something hold down shift. Click the bottom and there you go Now the other zoom controls you have these ones up here where you can go like that where it goes up and down it takes The whole entire project and goes up and down. It won’t be one individual track or you could go like this zoom in and out We also have these Auto zooms when you go like that see how it auto zooms, in and out And then we have the other one We have our horizontal and our vertical zooms or I should say we have our vertical And we have our horizontal ones. I always mess up vertical and horizontal How, I do not know why, but anyways So we got vertical and we got horizontal So if we can go larger like that my favorite way to zoom in and out of things is if you hold the command key You hold the command key and you go Left or right with the arrows or up and down with the arrows. You can stretch it out like that This is my favorite way to do it and a really quick way to zoom So command and arrow keys the last thing for zooming in and out is going to be the z button Believe it or not so let’s say we deselect everything and we hit Z I deselect it by hitting down here in the blank area if I hit Z It sizes it up Now, let’s say you have a bunch of little tracks on here So I got tracks everywhere. This one’s cut up cut up So we select this one and you hit Z It’ll zoom in on that track only you see how it fills it into the screen from where we cut it if you want to Zoom back out you just a Z again see in and out. It’ll go right to that thing right to that file So if I go to this file has Z. It’ll zoom the entire file in for you. This is very very helpful One of the other ones I use them on. So I’m just hitting the Z button and that’s it there you go there in a nutshell is how you use all the zoom controls and logic I Hope I beat the time. I’m not really sure because I Can’t really physically see the clock if I should have time myself. Maybe I’ll consider that for the next video All right, you guys have a great one. If you like this video, don’t forget to like comment subscribe and I’ll be releasing at least one of these a week until we have a nice full playlist for you
